Correcting Past Wrongs

I wanted to tell the world how grateful I am for my brother. He has a great sense of humor, is a great dad, and is so talented.

When we were growing up, there was a time that we'd gotten in a fight and I'd pushed him down some railroad beams that my mom and dad used for flower beds. After I'd pushed him and he hit his back, his tears welled up and I felt so terrible. How could I do this to my own brother?

When I was a kid, I had such a big chip on my shoulder. This chip, as it were, was even more important than the love of my brother at that time.

Chris. I truly apologize for this and hope you can forgive me. I wish I could take back every bad word or act I committed when we were young. I love you more than you will ever know and will continue to show you my love for the rest of our days on this earth.

If any of you out there have acted like I did. Take a few minutes to write a letter to them and apologize. You'll find out that this exercise is really therapeutic and helpful.

Be well,

Dave
